An ingenious new watch that watches you swim, Swimovate’s Pool Mate launches in Hong Kong through Escapade Sports. Available in black, grey and pink, this unisex watch is perfect for pool swimmers.
Counting laps, strokes, efficiency and calories; the Pool Mate watch, or Automatic Swimming Computer as it is also known, is stylish and simple to use. All you need to do is input your weight, length of the swimming pool and which wrist you are wearing it on; all that is left to do is dive in.
Unlike other products on the market, there is no need to tap the pool walls when you complete a length, as the Pool Mate will sense the distance through the information you have programmed into its revolutionary computer system. The watch is already preset to a 25 metre pool, left hand and 65kg however it is super simple to reset it to the wearer’s individual data.
Showing the date and time as normal you can wear it all day, everyday. The Pool Mate retails at HK$890
