Retail Sales Assistant
Requirements/Responsibilities
- Outgoing, confident & presentable
- Comfortable serving both Chinese & Western customers
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve monthly sales targets
- A passionate interest in sports & fitness / sporting products
- Retail experience is an advantage / preferably sports related
- Store cleaning & product presentation responsibilities
- Linking with management to communicate customer requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel/Word) is an advantage
- Fluency in English a must / fluency in Cantonese an advantage
- Flexible working hours / availability to work on week-ends & public holidays is essential
- Non smoker strongly preferred
Retail Sales Supervisor
Requirements/Responsibilities
- Ability to deal with customers
- Ability to coordinate a sales team of 10 staff in terms or working Rota to ensure that the shop is adequately and efficiently staffed at all times
- Reporting of sales information to the management
- Implementation and supervision of procedures and systems related to sales, ordering and reporting
- Motivation and training of staff to enhance their sales abilities
- Assuring that orders for new stock are placed in good time
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of all products in sale and to explain them to customers and fellow team members
- Finding out customers requirements regarding products and communicate those to the management
- Should be interested in sports, preferably in one of those: Rugby, Cricket, Running, Swimming, Triathlon
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel/Word) is an advantage
- Fluency in English is a must and fluency in Cantonese is an advantage
- Flexible working hours, and availability to work on week-ends and public holidays is essential
